Skye B&Bs, please help

Hi all

Any recommendations for good B&B accomodations on Skye? Budget about 25-30 pounds pp/night. thanks, GT

I have tried Corry Lodge at Broadford early this month and it was GBP 65 for a double en-suite room with a 4 poster bed. You may find it cheaper when it is not peak season. It locates in a seclusive area near the pier and is off the main road. I regard it as a hidden secret of Broadford as we did not see any other guest during our two-day stay. You can sleep very well there. You may find the furnishing, albeit vintage, better than your expectation. One drawback is the midgets --- a lot of them in the garden after rain.

Most people I know in Skye are normal height:)

I stayed in Kilmuir Park, Dunvegan at the end of May.

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Hosts George and Mhari Milne were very welcoming.

A special attraction of this B&B is that it's within easy driving (or taxi if you're drinking) distance of Three Chimneys.

Regards

Calum

Sheila, I for one am disappointed there are no mythical, magical little people. Are you sure then?
Lisa.

Nope; not a midget in sight. They've all been driven away by those pesky midges:
