sketch restaurant London - anyone been there for tea?

Just wondering if anyone from Fodorville has been to tea at sketch and if you liked it or not.
The website's certainly interesting!

Have been to tea at most of the usual suspects (Ritz, Lanesborough, Claridge's, Orangery, Fortnum & Mason, etc). I saw Sketch recommended on another site but not much information was given.

Will be in London in a couple of weeks...

I haven't been to sketch for tea (I am not a tea person) but been there for a wonderful lunch. I must say the decor of the place is amazing, nothing I have seen before for a restaurant/bar/gallery.

I remember seeing a tv reality program where the contestants have to prepare tea at Sketch and the cakes looked delicate and delicious.

Go there and have a look at the decor if you are interested in advant garde interior decorating. There were a few tourists went in just to take photos when I was there. This is will be a different experience from the usual suspects for tea, I can assure you.

I've been for dinner. It is, to say the least, interesting. We were seated in the Gallery for our meal and all of the surrounding walls had the same moving image projected onto them. All of us were scrutinizing the image trying to figure out what it was. The conversation went as follows:

Me: Oh my god, those look like -
Dining Companion 1: There's no way. That's gross. It can't be.
Dining Companinon 2: I think lizziea06 is right. I don't know what else they could be.
Me: Let's ask the waiter
(motions waiter over)
Me: Hi sir, we're ready to order some drinks. May I ask, out of curiosity, what is that on the wall?
Waiter: (in thick French accent) Oh why yes madame, zose are zee testiculars

Yup, I ate a £120 meal surrounded by moving images of balls.

The food was great though!

Thanks for the responses! I figured it would be interesting based on the website (which actually gets a bit annoying after a few minutes). I might have to go to the restaurant just so that I too can claim I've eaten surrounded by moving images of balls!!

alihutch that certainly looks like an intriguing, and different, venue for a tea. I may try it!

They change the art installations every month so I can't guarantee the balls will still be there. The bathroom 'pods', on the other hand, are insane. It's like peeing in space.
