Site for metro maps of Rome & Florence?

Does anyone know a site to download train metro maps for Rome & Florence? Do they show parking stations?
Thanks Rhonda

For Rome, try

http://www.romeguide.it/files/romatras.gif

"P" is for parking--"Parcheggio"

It's not a terribly useful map, since it doesn't show the streets where the stops are located, but maybe it's better than nothing. For more detailed information, including hugely detailed maps that take forever to download and are illegible unless blown up astronomically, see

http://www.atac.roma.it (there's an English version)

and in particular

http://www.atac.roma.it/trasroma/mappe/index.htm

I don't think Florence has a metro; for the bus system see

http://www.ataf.net

Again there's an English version; however, the whole site is frequently inaccessible.

Rhonda:

As previously stated Florence doesn't have a metro. Does have a bus system. However if you're staying in the city center (which most people do) it's a very compact & walkable city. And even more so as the core section of Florence is pedestrian only during the day.

Rome does have a metro, with lots of good bus connections. Metro in Rome is fairly limited when compared to other major capitals (London, Paris). It only has 2 metro lines. One of the problems with extending their subway system is that everytime you dig in Rome, you hit yet another antiquity.

Another site for metros in lots of cities is: http://www.subwaynavigator.com/

However it appears to only have limited info on Rome's system.
