Sita schedule explanation

I have a copy of a Sita bus schedule and pretty much understand everything except the little symbols. Could someone explain what the circled A, dual hammers, and the cross mean? Since my Italian is very minimal I would hate to try and have the driver explain this all to me.
Thanks much, LisaS

Without seeing their legend it's impossible to say for sure, but normally the dual hammers mean workdays (i.e., every day except Sundays and holidays), the cross means Sundays and holidays, and the circled A means Monday through Thursday, except holidays. Those are the symbols used on the Thomas Cook railway timetables.

Ack! Circled A means Monday through Friday, except holidays. I don't know how I came up with Thursday!

Hi L,

Somewhere on the schedule the symbols are explained in Italian.

Ira, I printed out the schedule, no explanation. Even asked one of our salesmen who grew up in Italy, he couldn't see anything on the site either.
Thanks all, LisaS

Lisa,

How did you find the bus schedule for SITA? I need to find a schedule from Tavernella val di Pesa to Florence and I can't find it. I need to see what other towns close by would work as well.
Thank you.

Hi Sunny - You can find services to Tavarnelle Val di Pesa on:

Hope this helps ...

Hi Steve_James,

Thanks so much. I really appreciate the help. This gives me a schedule finally. The last bus stills leaves Florence a little early but now I will try to find out if there is a train that leaves Florence after 9:30pm.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 08:03 AM.
