Hi, I have it more together now, 3 sisters , we are going to try to fly into Rome and back home from Venice, any suggested itinery! Admitted novices at Italy travel so please help! Thanks

Hey, It's early in the morning, itinerary, dates 3/27 --4/7

If you have 10 or 11 days you could do Rome, Florence (daytrip via bus to Sienna)and Venice. Use the train. This combination of varied experiences is popular with novices and the train is easy and safe to use. It will give you a good overview and leave you wanting to come back again.

Ot consider a three-day car rental, as you leave Florence, and meander your way to Venice. Lots of good destinations along the way - - Bologna, Verona, many more in the Veneto.
