Singapore's New A380-800 Airbus

Has anyone experienced the New Airbus flying "economy"? Looking for pro's and con's departing JFK to FRA.
Regards, Andrea

My route too in 6 weeks!
Will be interested to hear replies, although Singapore Air is generally given high marks for service...

Can't comment on Singapore's economy on the new Airbus but my DIL loved the Qantas version flying London to Sydney in December. More room, more comfort, all together a more pleasant experience for such a long flight. The previous time she flew Emirates which she said was good but this was better.

I flew it from Singapore to Sydney. It seemed like the seats were a bit roomier than usual and they had all the in seat entertainment bits, which makes the time pass faster. Because the plane was so big, it was not crammed full which is always a benefit; shorter toilet lines, cleaner toilets, less crabby FAs, more overhead space...

Don't forget to come back with your report, will be flying first week in September and anxious to hear.
Thanks, Andrea
