SIMULSTED terror attack set for March 23, London Tube

I thought this might be of interest to those traveling to and in London on March 23, 2003. According to the BBC there will be a SIMULATED terror attack set for Sunday, March 23 in London Tube Station. This is a great idea but I would find it very frightful as a visitor and not knowing that it was simulated.
news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/2819019.stm

That should read SIMULATED! I sure wish I could spell check these messages first.

It is being held at Bank Station and trains will not be stopping there during the drill.

You can spell check it, jus re read it before posting.
I think this would scare the wits out of an already nervous public. What is the point?
The had a real bombing in a Phillipines airport today, that is bad enough.

Thanks for the advice Lola. Sometimes I just get "trigger happy" and send before I find all of my mistakes.

Thanks for the info, Lola. I'm arriving with my family on the 22nd, and am glad to know about it. You're right, it sure would be frightening if you were unaware.

...And I was all set to do a Google search for this new terrorist group I'd never heard of, the Simulsted Terrorists!

Travelers would not even know this is taking place, they would never do a drill using "real" passengers. They held one recently in NYC and they used employees of the city as "passengers" and had medics, cops, firefighters, etc. there to test their reaction and response time. It is closed to the public, so please don't think you might stumble on to something like this. That would be scary for sure!
LOL, soccr, that is what I thought! Where in London is Simulsted!
Seriously, they do have these terror attack practices in NYC, but most people are unaware. I would be happy to miss hearing about them, myself, the real threat is sufficiently upsetting .
