Simone Gaddini

Has anyone used Simone Gaddini's services for a tour of Florence recently? We had email contact in November, filled out the form he furnished us with, and sent a check for partial payment to his US address. We have heard nothing back and our tour was arranged for January 20, we leave on Sunday (the check has not been cashed). We are going on a Context Rome tour when in Rome, so I guess we should contact them for Florence. We have a Florence walking tour arranged with Megan McCaffrey, but we wanted a docent tour through the galleries.

Thanks, folks.

bonniejean,

Simone has become a friend of mine having used him many times for groups I've brought to Florence.

Hmmmm.

he is always reliable, so I am not sure what has happened. did you call him. Do you need a number?

Most likely you would be going ont he tour with Simone Anichini and he is so fantastic, so I hope this all works out.

Let me know!

Tripgirl, yes, a number would be just what we need. My H mentioned we only had email. I hope we have not muddled something up on our end. Many thanks.

Here is what i have. I have spoken with Simone in a little while, so I hope these numbers are correct.

In US: 510-549-1707. In Italy: 055 22-55-35.

In case all else fails, you could call his partner: Simone Anichini in florence: 328-919-0959 ( c)

Gosh, I really do hope it all works out for you; Simone ( both of them!) are great!

bonniejean,

I meant to say I have NOT spoke to Simone in awhile.

Also his address in Berkeley is P.O
Box 9679. you could send an urgent msg via FEDEX if you needed to.

Also by any chance his US number is not the same, you could call info for Berkeley. how many Simone Gaddini's could there be??

Bonniejean,
You will LOVE the tour with ContextRome. We took the Roma Antica with Carlos last month. He was great.

Tripgirl, thank you tremendously for the contact information. I will post back if I have useful information to share.

Sharkmom, we are really excited about the private tours we have arranged. After discovering this wonderful board and reviewing all the information to be had, I knew private tours would be the way to go for us. I have copied down many of your restaurant suggestions; thank you for such a nice trip summary.
