Thanks, Weadles! What I meant was walking from Minois to the main road, then waiting for the bus to either Parikia or Pounta.

Sorry to hear Parasporos isn't sheltered from the wind. One of the things I like about Antiparos is: there are about five beaches within walking distance from town, some more sheltered than others. On really windy days i like to walk to Panagia, sometimes called Psaraliki 3. It is a sandy beach with tamarisk trees for shade, and has a stone wall at the back for a windbreak.

The beach is about 15-20 min walk from town, either on the road or a rough path from Psaraliki 2 Beach. There is a nice taverna behind the beach.

Hi there! I just saw your post, I hope you had an amazing time around the Greek Islands. Which one did you choose? I always prefer the ferry when travelling to the Greece islands since it is a part of the whole Greek summer experience. If you visit Greece again, you might want to try Greek Island Hopping. I took this e-pass the past summer and had the chance to see many beautiful islands including Paros & Santorini. ( www.hostelbay.com/ferries )
