So it was not worth an overnight stay..from the comments here. How far is the drive from Rome to Florence?

Siena not worth an overnight stay?<BR>You read that HERE?<BR>Not the most common opinion, for sure.

The drive from downtown Rome to downtown Florence is less than 3 hours nonstop IF you don´t loose yourself driving out from Rome or driving into Florence :-)<BR><BR>I wonder how many comments you found here, Karen, contrary to an overnight stay in Siena ... maybe a couple? I´ll join Elaine to make two pro Siena stay :-)

For us, on our recent trip, Siena was not only worth an overnight stay, it was worth five nights, five wonderful nights. It's a beautiful town with one of the most amazing campos you'll ever see.
