La Torre, down a little side street to the left of the tower in the Piazza del Campo. Brilliant and cheap.

OK, I can kind of understand why my link was pulled from my comment above by the moderators. Yes, it is a page on my website. Agreed.

But let me tell you, I live in the Siena area. I eat out a lot. I LOVE good food. So the list of eateries I’ve put together isn't just some thrown-together thing, it's been honed by eating out in this area for nearly 30 years. I doubt there are too many people who know more about where to eat in this area than I do. And my restaurant list is a good one. Really good. My guests find it incredibly useful. Plus it includes links and contact details for all of them. I have invested a lot of time, energy, and evenings out eating to get it right!

So maybe the moderators could use a little moderation with their scissors? I leave it to you...
