Sicily itinerary question re Villa Imperiale del Casale
As our itinerary is set so far for our trip in September, we will be staying 2 nights in Agrigento, 3 nights in Ragua and 3 nights in Siracusa (among other places in Sicily). Should we change one of these to stay one night close to Villa Imperiale del Casale or can we do that as a day trip?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Driving 90 minutes to and back again someplace in Sicily as a "day trip" it not my idea of fun. If you don't mind another hotel switch, you might find it more relaxing to just enjoy a night there, and it appears the most logical place to put it is between Agrigento and Ragusa, taking a night from Ragusa or Siracusa. You don't say where else in Italy you are going, but if it includes Taormina or Palermo, it might also logically fit into another leg of your itinerary. Can't tell.

Sounds like a personal preference decision. FWIW, I spent the night before my visit to the Villa Romana del Casale in Enna and the night afterwards in Caltagirone. I would probably shift a night from Ragusa to one of those locations, but it really depends on what you want to see and experience and when, exactly (morning, afternoon, evening) you would reach/depart from your other overnight locations.
Enjoy!
