Sicily in November

We will be visiting Taormina in Mid-November, what can we expect for weather, and will there be tourists in the cities of Taormina, Syracuse and Agrigento?
Please advise,
Mille grazie,
Alberto

Alberto,

I have been to Sicily three times in November and, generally speaking, the weather has been wonderful even though most of Europe was rainy. It is a perfect time to go with little tourism that time of year.

Thanx for the info. I would appreciate it if you can tell me something about Taormina, Syracuse and Agrigento. This is where we plan to go, but would like to know what you found interesting, since you've been there three times. I speak Italian, parents born outside of Rome. Have been to Italy annually for the past 28 years, however, never Sicily.
Mille grazie,
Alberto

Alberto, You may enjoy my trip report and photo gallery at slowtrav.com Just click on trip reports and you will find it. You can see weather details at weatherbase.com I would include Palermo rather than Agrigento. Good luck !

Bobthenavigator - we have also been struggling with our November plans as well as events have changed timing. Any thoughts on this itinerary over 7 nights:
Fly into Palermo and drive to Montreal, next night in Erice, then a night in Agrigento, 2 nights in Ragusa and 2 nights in Taormina, flying out of Catania on the 8th day?
Too many stops or just right?

gfeiblman : based on my own 3 trips to Sicily, I'd say drop Ragusa - we just had a quick look & lunch there & it was enough. Have you done Palermo before ? As part of our last trip we spent a week there & could have spent longer (didn't even make it to Monreale). If you only have 7 nights, I'd say have 3 nights in Palermo, visit Agrigento & Ragusa en route to Siracusa, 2 nights there, 2 nights Taormina.

Alberto01, there are tourists all the year round in Taormina, but not so much in Siracusa & Agrigento.
