Sicily Ferry Pozzallo to Malta

Hi there,

We are planning on taking the ferry from Pozzallo to Valletta and would ideally like to park our car and walk on. Do you know if there is a place to park our car at the terminal and leave it for a few days?

Welcome to Sicily AnnieS402!

Pozzallo’s Porto di Pozzallo (0932 797080), Polizia Municipale (0932956711), Tourist Information (0932 795010), and VirtuFerries Pozzallo (0932 811811) have all indicated that it is not possible to park inside the port.

There is parking outside the port.

There is a paid parking area before the port. It’s in front of the port on the other side of the street near the Ristorante Al Porto.

And all have indicated that there’s free parking on the street in front of the port.

I have no idea if this is up-to-date but thought it might help you or give you an idea on how to research your question.

Flights to Malta are often cheaper than Virtu ferries.

is that true, flights are cheaper than the ferry from Pozzallo to Valetta?

If anyone took the ferry was it a pleasant trip? Worth it to be on the water or better to fly and arrive quickly?

Sorry it's taken so long to respond. The ferry was more than pleasant. We opted out of flying because the price differential wasn't significant enough when we included time at airport, cost of parking our vehicle and our itinerary. I'm glad we went the way we did.
