Sicily: Cefalu or Erice???

Hi. I want a day in a seaside town. Something pretty. Something quaint.
Beautiful views. Lovely restaurants. I am going in October and will be operating out of Palermo. I wondered which city, if either, would fill the bill--Cefalu or Erice.
Can't do both. Time is limited. Thanks in advance. bob

If you want something pretty and quaint with beautiful views, visit Erice but if you want a seaside town you'll have to visit Cefalu. Erice is perched atop a very high hill and can get very cool. I don't think you'd be disappointed in either town.

Both towns are full of interesting buildings, good restaurants and beautiful views.

I can't say Erice as pretty, it is more austere but impressive. Because perched high on top of the hill, tends to be foggy.

Cefalu is a lovely seaside town, more touristy, easier to reach from Palermo by trains.
