Shuttle or taxi from Nice airport to Cannes?
 

I'm wondering if it's best to take a regular taxi when we arrive Nice Airport, going to Cannes, or if we should book a shuttle. The price for the shuttle is over 100 Euro. (we have to book a private, all the shared ones are allready booked) Can it really be more expensive to take a regular taxi? I read the traffic can be horrible, and that a fixed price can be a cheaper alternative. We are arriving at 8 PM, and I'm wondering if it would be best (and chepeast) if we just take a ordinary taxi. Thank you!

Can't comment on the taxi as my wife and i have always set up a private sedan. It's pricey, usually 180 euros round tip from Nice to Cannes. However, it's easy, has less uncertainty, first class (nice black mercedes sedan with driver in black suit) and kicks off our vacation the right way. We've used airport-shuttle.com and have had good results.
