shuttle from CDG to hotel

I've done several searches, but nothing is coming up.

Will be landing mid-afternoon at CDG, heading to the (Marriott) Courtyard in Neuilly, slightly in a suburb west of the city near the American Hospital.

Any thoughts on reliable shuttle services?

Any idea of approximate cost of a taxi for two people?

Does anyone know the cost of the airport bus into the city or are we better off to take the RER? We'll be arriving with maximum-size carry-on luggage -- going home will be another matter!

Parishuttle is the favored shuttle service here.

Approx. 45 € from CDG, maybe a bit more.

Personally I'd go with the taxi.

Not sure about the RER cost. I am sure someone else knows. And there have been numerous posts about taxis vs. shuttles.

Luv, www.parishuttle.com says that shuttle for 2 is € 34. Usually Mark Harris, the manager gives Fodorites a discount. Contact him at [email protected]

I think what Francophile03 was saying is that a taxi runs about 45-50 euros. So it's up to you. I've had good luck with PariShuttle.

Last year we took a taxi. Cost 45E, Time 30-40min.
This year we took the ParisShuttle. Cost 45E (I think), Time 1hr 35min. The Metro was having random striks and the traffic was terrible. I hate to think what the cost of a taxi would have been.
All this to say that if things are "normal" it probably dosen't make much difference, but if there is a reason for heavy traffic I think the shuttle would be better.
I think it would be quite a hassle to try the RER with luggage.

I tried emailing Mark at Paris Shuttle and it came back "Mail undelivered" - so maybe he is not there anymore. Anybody else got a better email than [email protected]

Mark Harris is still there. He responded to someone here a couple of weeks ago.

For Neuilly, you might want to take the Air France bus to Porte Maillot (about 11 euros) and then taxi it from there.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 07:44 PM.
