Showers in Zurich HB train station?
 

Does anyone know if there are shower facilities in the Zurich HB station that are clean and affordable? We will be arriving in the morning after an all night from San Francisco and our train doesn't leave until 11pm. It would be great to get cleaned up before spending the day sightseeing in the city. There is a McClean in the Zurich HB, which definitely has clean toilet facilities and, I believe, showers. The toilets cost $1 or $2 CHF, the showers are $10 CHF, I believe.

We were there in June and I saw the McClean, although I didn't use the facilities. That's why I'm not positive about the showers. Maybe someone else will help. If not, I'd go with the assumption that you can get a shower there. Zurich HB is HUGE with multiple levels of shopping etc.

Thanks DeeDee. That would be much cheaper than the $23pp to get into the Swiss Arrivals Lounge at the airport for a shower! Can anyone confirm the McClean w/shower at Zurich HB??? Thanks for any help.

Yes to showers! If only using the toilets, you enter by dropping coins in a turnstile, going one way for men's and the other for women's facilities. If using showers, there is a check-in desk
