Shots?

Do Americans typically need to have any shots before travelling abroad to France?

There is no need for any special immunizations when traveling to France. Might be wise to ensure that your regular shots, tetanus for example, are up to date.

NO, Americans don't need any shorts in France. The French are tres fashionable and never wear shorts. If you want to fit in you shouldn't wear shorts either. And bring some fashionable shoes too.

any traveler should get the hepatitis A series. this disease can happen anywhere and anyone who travels frequently exposed in all porbability. contaminated shellfish are one of the biggest carriers of hep A
