Shorts in Sept?
 

Traveling on a river cruise the latter part of Sept. from Vienna to Amsterdam...could I have an opinion on whether th weather would justify taking along a couple of pairs of shorts?

maybe - sometimes we do get a nice fall! I would recommend the zip off pants if you are short of packing space.

I often find Sept warm to cool and sometimes misty, personnaly, too cool for shorts most of the time, but pleasant enough to be outside when walking.

Late September is nearer to October than it is to summer. Shorts will not be useful. Even on niceish days it will be very cool on the river.
