shortest way from Athen(greece) to italy

shortest way from Athen(greece) to italy(veniz, florence,Rome, which one is nearest?) by cruise?

Fly - try Aegean Airlines. Overnight cruise doesn't depart from Athens. You would have to get to Patras to catch the cruise (about 3-4 hours away). It's expensive (if you want a cabin) and takes a long time.

Rome and Milan can be reached with easyjet, flights can be very cheap if you book ahead of time.

I suggest you fly to Rome and then use the trains to reach Florence and Venice.

Venice is closer to Milan, a 3 hours ride by train :)

Agree to fly from Greece to Italy. Not sure about cruises - although I believe there may be a ferry (google is your friend).

there are plenty of ferries between Patras and either Bari or Ancona or even Venice, but it takes very long, and if you take a cabin it can be very expensive.
On the other hand ,depending on the period, you can find very cheap flights...
kybourbon actually speaks of ferries not cruises :)
