Shortest Paris Report from Hamburg

Guys,
grabbing moment while nobody home to tell about my Paris experience...

How come no Fodors told me that over there when you entering the toilette you(woman) can bump into bunch of pissing men ... and you have to proceed to the nearest stall. I was shocked !!! Then I tried to make a picture, ended up too dark.

Room becomes Thripple when mattress on the floor is added, my daughter#s was spring board. She hurt her butt when sat on it, I went and asked for the actual matress, got it, they couldn#t close the door, door hit the mattress. We had to move beds, blocked the toilet door. Toilet was the size of the whole room. Kept clother in there.
View was marvelous. Quiet street, gorgeous, windows with little balconies (even in the bathroom). Contrasts...

Yeah, how come no one ever said that if you wait for 2 hours at Notre Damme, you will go up spiral stears forever until your heart ready to stop and then you will end up on the balcony for skinny people and THATS IT !
My friends just got to Paris, I told them not to go inside, knees...

When I am back ...

Please, help me with lost portraits, pretty please.

Sincerelly yours Ziana from Hamburg

Hi ziana,

Is there someone at your hotel who speaks French and could call the Lost & Found for you?

LOL on the Notre Dame impressions, Ziana!

I'm not sure I would have had the nerve (or desire really, come to think of it) to take a photo of men lined up. Did you remember to politely ask their permission first??

Thanks for the quick entertaining read.

Hi Ziana. I'm just curious what hotel you were staying at because I'm planning a trip to Paris and will need a triple room (and I'm hoping for something with an actual third bed!). Thanks.

Funny about Notre Dame. I've climbed up too (and twisted my knee) so I know what you mean!

I did not take a pic of strange men, only my husband LOL

Hotel was Alcyon, 17 rue de Prague.
Tripple room E 115. Huge bathroom, size of the room.
Near Bastilia, clean, view was good (excluding huge dog doodoos mountain right in front of our entrance door, which was gone just in 3 days

Yeah, I have to think of my report now.
See ya !
