Short term vacation apartment in Dublin

My family of 4 will be visiting Dublin in early June 2007 for 4 days. Is it possible to rent an apartment for this length of time in Dublin?

Can you suggest any inexpensive apartments within the old city with easy access to sights?

Thank you! Laurie

Daft is tough as most are longer than 4 days we use this in the city for longer term apt rentals but you never know. I like this website http://www.staydublin.com/ I walked by amny of these places daily and they are fine. i would only avaoid the Ivy exchange as i do not like this area at night.

Thank you both for your suggestions!

Siobhan, I think I would be most interested in the Millenium Walk or the Capel Street apartments.

It looks like they are located in pretty much the same area and they are both the same price. Would you choose one over the other and why?

Are these apartments in a safe area within walking distance to some of the major sights?

Thanks again for your help! Laurie

Go for the millenium walk first and Christ Church second. I just walked by the Capel street one last sat and its a busy urban area and I know the noise can be bad with the traffic and trucks in the am. Also very larte its jusy ok on capel street and not where I would place visitors staying with me. MNillenioum is nice and has someone on Duty at all hoursa. Also you are next to a lot of coffee shops and cafes and a hop over the Millenium brifge to Temple bar and the south side and have the shopping centre a two minute walk on the north side from you. The italian quarter is just beside it and the food is priced well and nice outside on a sunny day.

Wow! Thanks so much for walking by these apartment buildings! That was very nice of you.

I will email the Millenium apartments and try to get booked with them. The area they are in sounds ideal for us.

Thanks again for going the extra mile for us, SiobhanP. I really do appreciate it! Laurie
