However, Ani, have you secured accomodation in Zurich? In a previous post you stated that you wanted a quad for no more than $150 a night in Zurich. That is one tall order. Pepper |
I now realized that it is indeed a tall order and will sacrifice a few more dollars for a decent accommodation !! St. Josef seems to be OK. A bit too late to realize that I am going to one of the costliest cities in the world !

Well, Pension St. Josef is, indeed, a nice hotel. Plain, but spotless and very quiet. The breakfast is quite good.
There is a Starbuck's close by, but a takeaway coffee will set you back almost $6. There is also a Coop supermarket between the Bahnhof and St. Josef. You can by picnic food there. I don't think it would be worth getting a half-fare card or a Swiss Pass if you are only going to be in Switzerland for three days. You would have to do the math, however, using the train schedules listed above at ssb dot ch to figure if you would come out ahead or not. Pep |
