I am planning on a trip for 2 weeks to Italy and want to know what would be worth shopping for!

Leather goods, olive oil,wine,florentine decorated papers, limoncello (lemon flavored aperitif, made along Amalfi coast), handmade pottery, such as Deruta, Vietri, etc.

100% silk ties in Florence for $5 at the Mercato centrale. leather belts for $5-10. Wonderful leather jackets for $100-200. Best shopping in Florence.

We brought back black and green olive pate that kept for months, also mushroom pate. Limoncello and bottles of Aperol (can't get it in the US).
