Shopping Help in Rome - Urgent!

Hi all. Tomorrow will be our second and last day in Rome. We were hoping to shop the whole day but can't seem to find a sreet or neighborhood that offers clothing between Gucci and Zaras! We are looking for upscale fashion forward boutiques with funky, cool clothing that are different from what we'd find in New York or at least great Italian goods at a better price. We are staying on the Via Venetto. Please help us not to go home empty handed!

The only place I can think of in Rome with what you are seeking is the Monti area, there are some one-off boutiques on the main street running from the Piazza della Madonna di Monti toward Termini. Or on Via dell'Oca off Via di Ripeta near Piazza del Popolo.

I would recommend Di Cori for an amazing selection of leather gloves. Every color you can imagine....not very expensive and very well made. I got cahsmere lined gloves. It is a small shop near the Spagna metro station.

I also love Furla stores in Rome. I bought a gorgeous wallet and a few change purses there (we went to the one on via Condotti). They also are well made and reasonably priced. Amazing selection of colors and styles! Some call Furla "poor man's Prada"!

Are these places and clothing shops in general open on Sundays? Am asking as I honestly don't know but OP is asking about tomorrow which will be Sunday.

There is a couple of shops near the Piazza do Poppolo that were opened on Sundays, at least when we were there last year. It turned out that they were owned by the same brother and sister so they can bring more stuff fom one to the other as customers needed. My wife bought dresses and accessories to give, not designer items but unique to Italy. I believe one of the stores was on Via del Corso about one or two blocks from Pzza. Del Poppolo.

You can also head to the designer outlet shopping mall a bit outside of Rome which is open on Sundays:

Prices in Italy lower than those in the US - will be very difficult to find, Generally things are much less costly here.

Thanks so much! Furla has great stuff here and I will check out the other suggestions. Hope to go through customs with lots of stuff!

We did also see a Furla boutique in the terminal at FCO. I got a great hot pink wallet that I love!
