shopping for tod's

I am going to Italy soon, can anyone tell me where to buy JP tod's and if they are going to be cheaper than in the States?

Tod's are made by Diego Della Valle and are sold in their shop at 45 Via Borgognona in Rome. Another chain of shops are Diego's, named Hogan
I buy mine on sale here at NM.

I have bought a couple of pairs in the Florence. Even full price, they are cheaper than Toronto. Also, check out the outlet mall outside of Florence - I have never been myself

Any quality shoeshop will stock them, as I've said before, they'll be 10-30 per cent cheaper, however, don't expect any bargains as all designer products are equivalently priced throughout the world, they'll always be relatively expensive. As an aside, they're even more expensive in China!

They are in stores in Florence.

I bought a pair of classic Tod's driving shoes at the shop on Capri in June, 1998. There were exactly $100 cheaper than the same pair sold at BarneysNY. However, the American dollar was very strong against the lira in 1998. With the strong euro and the weak dollar, I doubt the savings on a pair of Tod's will be that supstantial. Your best bet is to hit the January sales in Italy, and find shoes that have been marked down.
