We are back. We visited the two shops of Sussana and Marina sent in San Marco (tiny) and Dorsoduro (slightly larger store). While I loved their designs, I thought the style of the jewelry was a little too contemporary for my MIL. We did not have time to go to Murano.
Annw, could you be talking about Capriccio? This is a family owned store, up the street from the Sent sisters' in Dorsoduro, and very very close to the vaporetto station, Accademia. They actually have two stores across from each other, one of them features all sorts of trinkets some of them per their own admission, made in China (ashtrays, etc); the other is a jewelry store, also with a variety of quality and for different budgets; they had some items that featured the trademark logo that Jean mentioned; here I was able to find a nice necklace for my MIL, made with real Murano glass (hopefully!) as well as a very cute and cheap bear-shaped pendant for our 5 year old!
The store that ladycartel mentioned near Rialto is not there, at least, not anymore, shop # 5468 is a clothing/sweater store; we did find another nice jewelry store right next door, per the owner, he is one of 23 or so "authorized" Murano glass stores, and he also had that logo on his window. Hope this helps somebody else. I will not have time to write a full trip report like others do (we have a baby and 2 young kids and my in-laws are gone!)but this Forum was very helpful to us!!

Yes, Capriccio is the one, I think -- I know they also have a store that features lamps/shades over in San Marco. I bought a bracelet there with really unique, interesting beads. Glad you found some good shops!
