shoe style and color
I'm new here, but have been lurking for awhile. I have a shoe question for the ladies out there. I'll be in London next month. I've been there many times but I can't remember if any of the ladies ever wear navy shoes. Normally I only travel with black shoes in Europe, but I have 2 new navy skirts and a pair of trousers I'd like to take in addition to the usual black and khaki. So my questions are:
1. Would navy shoes look odd? 2. What style would go with both knee length skirts and trousers? Thanks! |
bubba1- I hate to give you the bad news, but I'm surprised you didn't hear that navy shoes have officially been banned in the UK.

1) I have no idea why they would look odd.
2) Dress shoes that aren't boots. |
If you'd like to avoid taking an extra pair of shoes, take just the black ones
I've always had it on good fashion authority (friends in the biz') that black shoes and accessories are just fine with navy clothes Navy shoes are becoming rare, actually |
Agree with Elaine.
And--have you ever tried matching navies? There are many different colors out there that are called navy but often don't look good together. To say nothing of matching with panty hose or socks. |
My dear, London has some five or so million residents; surely logic dictates that firstly at least one of them will be harbouring navy shoes, and secondly not one of them could give a damn about any of the others.

Hi bubba, as has already been mentioned trying to match navy shoes to navy clothes is almost impossible.
And the less shoes taken the lighter your luggage will be. Wearing black shoes with navy clothes is very acceptable. That is what I would do. Have a wonderful trip! |
