Shipping Things Home from Dublin

I have a big box of stuff that I want to send home to the U.S. now that my Irish part of my holidays are done.

For Irish natives, what is the best way to do this -- through the post office or is there another service like UPS that would be cheaper/better? Do they have retail stores in the city centre?

Slow class is fine -- it's not souvenirs or anything like that, just clothes that I don't need anymore & don't want to lug around on the rest of my 6 week stay.

Thanks for any input!

The post office i think may be cheaper check out http://www.anpost.ie/AnPost If you are in Dublin send from the GPO as all the post here should go from here

I also think the post office would be cheaper we have lots of couriers here , UPS, Fedex, DHL, etc, but they would be a bit more expensive i would imagine.

Thanks for the tip -- unfortunately I didn't see them before I went to Mail Boxes Etc. and shipped through UPS.

It was expensive, but at least they did all the boxing/taping for me, a service that I wouldn't have had at the P.O.
