Shipping Polish Pottery back to USA
I'm visiting the Polish Pottery factory in Boleslawiec. Someone told me that they do not ship from the factory. Does anyone know of an easy way to ship pottery from Poland? I don't want to carry my puchases around for 10 days.

I have not checked this out myself, but I know that companies like FEDEX and DHL ship from all over the world. See if they have locations in Poland. You might be pleasantly surprised.
I bought a jacket and several items for gifts from the Santa Croce Leather School in Florence, Italy some years ago, and they shipped it to my home via DHL. It was NOT cheap, but worth it. In fact, the items arrived safely to my home a day before my return!

Check with the place you are staying if you trust the staff they may be able to give you advice on how to ship. Good luck navigating DHL or FedEx if you don't speak Polish.
If you are staying at the Blue Beetroot you can definately trust Barbara, John or Jarek for help. They have always been very helpful when I've been in the area.
Good Luck! PS how is the autobahn coming along in that area?
