We are arriving in Madrid Dec 26 2009 for 10 days. This is great!

Hi vibhav - wonderful photos! Our family will be arriving in Madrid 18th December and after detouring to Porto and Lisbon will be spending time in Andalucia. Your photos have whet my appetite!

My son will be taking his Canon 40D and was wondering what lenses you took and if you took a tripod.

four_maccas... Thanks for your comment... I took my 40D, 10-22, 17-55 F2.8 IS and 70-20 f4 IS lens... I also took a light travel tripod for low light and family photos...

The weeks surrounding Christmas are a WONDERFUL time to visit Spain. The Christmas lights are spectacular in every city.

I think us Fodorites, when travelling, should wear some pin or logo to identify ourselves as such, imagine how many times this may have happen unnoticed.
