Seville to Portugal's beaches -

My wife and I are planning a trip to Spain the will eventually have us down in Andalucia. My question is what is the best way to go from say, Seville to Faro in Portugal? From Faro we will move on to see the rest of Portugal
Seems like renting a car, one way plus going into another country will be too expensive, and have not found trains either
The other question is, what are the best beaches down in Portugal's south?
Thank you
Javier

The Algarve has several great beaches, beginning with Monte Gordo in the eastern Algarve.

You can take the bus from Sevilla to Monte Gordo (Vila Real de Santo António) or Faro, or do a private transfer.
