Seville, Spain Hotel El rey de Moro air conditioning

Planning to stay in Junior Suite Room 18...Can anyone tell me if that ac works really well? (i have read trip advisor a bunch and don't find any mention of it) Contemplating switching to Gran Melia Colon, which has great reviews too...

The Rey de Moro is fine. A/C in most hotels work when the hotel has scheduled the system to turn on. How hot it may become in May has no effect. Only hotels with individual A/C units allow you to control the system in your room, typically newer hotels.

Thank you, Robert, Would you happen to know if they have it on 24 hours a day in May? I have stayed at places that turn it off at 10 pm and that makes me nuts...

Haven't been in May, but it wouldn't surprise me if the A/C doesn't kick in until the first day of summer.

The hotel assures me they have individually controlled a.c., I have now asked if it is on during May!
