Seville on arrival day?

We are reaching madrid on a wed. in Nov. around noon. How feasible it is to go directly to a hotel in seville without staying in madrid first? we are thinking of reaching seville staying couple of nights and then come back to madrid for last 3 days of our stay. suggesstions? Thanks

It should certainly be feasible.

You can get the fast train (AVE?) Madrid - Sevilla, and be there in a couple of hours.

Sevilla is one of my favourite places in the world. Have a great time. :)

Thanks margo. Do you think we can get Ave tickets on that day or it must be bought from here, before leaving?

3334,

You can buy your tickets at the airport, but it may less hectic to get them in advance since you want to travel on the same day you arrive in MAD.

Check out the Renfe site:

Thanks, matisse. I was concerned that ticket may be sold out or something. Officialy our flight reaches at noon, so I have no idea, when I will get out and reach the train station. so if availability is not a problem may be we can buy at the station or at the airport. Also I guess it would be wise to arrange aerocity transport from Barajas to Atcocha Station? Thanks
