Seville/Malaga Car Rental Pickup/Drop Off locations
We want to rent a car in Seville and drop it off in Malaga. In which location in both cities is it easier to maneuver the pick up and drop off (meaning a quick entrance and exit from the locations without having to drive in city traffic) Train station rental facility? Or airport rental facility? We will be IN Seville prior to pick up so naturally the train station would be more convenient but how are the roads out to the highway east -- confusing or easy to navigate? We will be coming from the Costa Tropical area to drop car in Malaga and then taking the train up to Madrid after drop off. So in both cases the train station would be more convenient for us BUT if the airport pick up and drop off is easier to access we are willing to go there too. Please advise.

Try both airports. Located out of the city, signposted, with ready access to motorway network. Seville train station (S Justa) is in a busy area and has confusing road layout, so I don't recommend it. Also rental offices are all over the place.

The dropoff at the train station in Malaga (Estacion Maria Zambrano) can be confusing since there is no outside signage allowed on the builiding. Check the Google map and find the entrance to the underground garage where the rental cars are dropped off. The first sign you see will be inside.
If you are not familiar with the area, I recommend dropping the car off at the airport and take the train to the station.
