Seville hotels

Hi, I am trying to decide on a hotel for 2 nights in May for DH & myself, have narrowed it down to 3. Prices are similar, the balcony rooms at Amadeus are a little more but don't mind paying a little extra for a balcony if all else is good.

Petit Palace Marques Santa Ana

The rooms sizes here are smaller.

Hotel Amadeus & La Musica

Superior double or double with balcony - the ones with a balcony are in the annex bldg, not sure which building is better.

Las Casas de los Mercaderes

Though I am a little wary of this one based on recent reviews that the hotel is showing its age, needs updating etc.

We like spacious rooms, updated bathrooms and nice furnishings. A roof terrace or garden would be great but I would try & get a room with a balcony if available. Would love to hear from anyone who has stayed here or is familiar with one or more of these hotels. Is any one better located that the other?

Next will be deciding on the apt in Barcelona which I will be posting about soon but one thing at a time!! Again, I really appreciate all the help I get here, thanks everyone!

I stayed in a superior double in La Musica. Not cheap but spacious for a European hotel remodeled with a modern bathroom with heated tile and fabulous housekeeping. Can't beat the location.

We stayed at the Amadeus and absolutely loved everything about it. The location is great, the rooms are large for a European hotel and charming and the linens lovely. The hotel has a lovely roof deck for breakfast and afternoon drinks. The owners and staff are gracious and helpful. There is live piano music in the afternoon in the atrium. All in all, we have seldom stayed in a hotel we liked as much.
