Seville

Hi, I am leaving for Spain in ~ 11 days from now! Wow!! I am sure excited. Anyhow, we are trying to find a place in Seville between April 20-24 (Sementa Santa). The two places we've tried said they are booked and the rest, well, we just can't get thru on the telephone lines. No luck at all. If anyone could recommend a place to stay (and even a phone number) I would really appreciate it. I know that time of year is really busy. I am hoping it works out or else we'll just have to make other plans...
Thanks in advance!!

Good luck! During Holy Week hotels are booked months in advance, but you may get lucky with a cancellation. Which two did you try? We stayed at Casas de los Mercaderes, you might try that one. If you haven't done a search on this forum, do it as there are lots of suggestions. If you cannot find something, do not try to go to Seville without a reservation. Have you investigated staying in surrounding towns? It might be your best bet.
Here's the Casas phone and fax:
phone: 954 225 858 Fax: 954 229 884

Dear Michelle
There were two places in Seville that I would check out. I only looked in thru the door, but they both looked nice.
The Hotel Baco. I don't know the number. Hosteria del Laurel 95/422-0295. Don't forget to look in Fodors and Lets Go Europe.

Semana Santa has always been full season on hotel rooms. Good luck.
