Sevilla private driver?

We are looking for a private driver for Sevilla and Pueblos Blancos.

Is that a car and driver, or just a transfer? Do you speak Spanish or will you need an English speaking driver. English speaking drivers are a bit more expensive.

Auto Europe offers a service, but there are other services available.

Thank you Robert. We are looking for a car and driver for a day trip out of Seville. We have driven in Europe many times, and it is not worth the hassle to rent a car and deal with the one way streets in and out of Seville, and the narrow streets, and parking issues in the various towns. We'd like to leave the driving to a local who really knows the area. We speak a little Spanish, but a driver who speaks some English would be preferred. Any suggestions?

Hi Shelly

Robert is an expert so whatever he replies should be the most helpful.

In the meantime I have read about Paul McGrath, an Aussie that escorts tourists on day trips ut of Sevilla to the pueblos blancos. I have not yet used his services.
You should be able to do a sreach here too for for info on his tours.

Here's Paul's website showing the itinerary for the white villages:

We thought about using his service last October during our week stay in Seville but ended up renting a car for a couple of days instead.

FWIW, at that time of year, parking was not an issue in Cordoba or the white villages. In Seville we left the car in a large lot next to the Murillo gardens for (approximately 15E per day). The gardens are lovely to walk through, we saw three different wedding parties taking photographs.

If you go to Zahara de la Sierra, I encourage you to visit Molino El Vinculo on the outskirts of town. The owner staffs their shop where he sells light/fruity olive oil and just about every other local product. Meeting him is worth the stop, he's a hoot.

Have a terrific trip.
