sevilla apt in macarena area-comments

Hi. We will be in Sevilla for 3 nights in May. Needs-queen or king bed (seem hard to come by!), central, good reviews and host, bright, , quiet, ac and elevator. Since we are here for 3 nights i am fine being a short 15 minute walk from major attractions (this is from comments).
That said, i am not familiar with this area at all-any comments? thanks

Have you tried sevilla5.com?

I've used them for apartment rentals very successfully. Their rates are good, they are professional, reliable and speak good English.

CathyM, I am looking on Sevilla 5-I am focusing on the Arenal or Macarena areas. We only need a 1 br and many in the Arenal area have 2 single beds. There are 1 or 2 that I do like so thanks!Which did you stay in?
Am I focusing on the right neighborhoods? we are fine walking 15-20 minutes to the major destinations. are looking for a neighborhood feel when we get home in the evening - close to good tapas places and not terribly loud...

I stayed in the Arenal area in an apartment that is no longer listed by sevilla5.com. I'm still debating on my choice for next year but Quioros looks nice.

If you email them about your specific needs they will probably respond with several choices saving you time on researching.

Arenal, Triana, San Lorenzo, Santa Catalina, Centro - most places have a neighborhood feel unless you're around the cathedral area or Santa Cruz (IMHO). Even though Sevilla is a big city it doesn't feel big and you can really get a feeling for the neighborhoods outside of the touristy areas.

Have you looked at Homelidays?
http://www.homelidays.com/

I have rented apartments through them in Barcelona and San Sebastian.

I am going to Sevilla next week and will stay in one of these apartments:

I found it through Homelidays (many owners put the same appartments on various sites it seems)
