Sete Rios or Oriente ??

We shall be arriving to Lisbon by bus from Seville. Should we purchase tickets for Lisboa Sete Rios or for Lisboa Oriente ? Our hotel is near Rossio Square. Which station would be closer to our hotel ? Please advise.

The Sete Rios station is closer to downtown Lisbon. If you want to take public transportation from there, follow the signs to the metro from the station, which is across the street from the Jardim Zoologico metro stop. From there it's a straight shot, and just a few stops, to downtown. My memory is that the Rossio stop is on a different line, but the line you would be on stops at Restauradores and Baixa/Chiado. Both are very close to Rossio, a few minutes on foot.

The Oriente bus and train station is by Calatrava and looks stunning at night. If you want to go to the Oceanarium or the Tejo river walk, you will see it anyway. But it's a long metro ride (and several changes) from central Lisbon. Have a good trip.
