September or October best for Italia?

Starting to think about next trip, and wondering what the weather is like in September or October. Would like to spend time in Positano/Ravello/Capri, Tuscany, then Venice. If U could pick 2 wks in Sept or Oct, when would U choose?
Thank you.....again.... :)

Late Sept/early Oct I think would be ideal.

I went late Oct, and while we wore shorts in the southern parts of Italy, it was a little cooler in Venice - pants and light jackets.

Either way - those months are perfect.

We have done Italy 6 times in Oct. and prefer that time. We are going back this year for 2 weeks in Tuscany.

Another vote for late September/early October, thoug any time in October is fine.

How late in September or October can I go to Lake Como/Bellagio and still get days with highs in the high 60's or low 70 degree range? Also, when does the rainy season set in? Thank you.

We were in Bellagio in late October, 2000 and walked around in shirtsleeves most of the timeI don't think it got to the 70s, but it was definitely in the 60s....and it was sunny.
