Is the weather still hot in these areas? Also, what way should we take for the car trip from Seville to Granada, Thru Ronda or thru Ubeda/ Baeza??? Thanks alot.

Sevilla will still be fairly hot..at least until early October.

we went in Sept a couple of yrs ago. It is still warm enough to be considered hot weather by some especially in Seville.
But it was not scalding like it is in August. |
We are traveling the same time. We actually will be arriving the day after you and will overlap some days in Seville and Granada. We have received a great deal of advice in two threads that might be worth reading.

Wow, I will also be arriving in madrid the same day! I have been researching the weather, and it looks like you can expect low to mid 80s in Madrid/Seville. I think it will be a little cooler in Ronda, as it is in the mountains, and we're also going to Nerja (on the coast) so I think that will be moderate as well. I'm not sure about Granada, maybe similar to Ronda?
For packing, I'm anticipating the coolest day time temperature to be in the low 70s, highest in the mid to upper 80s. Do you guys think that sounds right? I know it might be cooler in the evening, but do you think it's likely that there will be days cooler than 70F? |
We were in these cities last year - end of Sept and first week of Oct. It was very hot! Wore tank tops every day. Cool in Ronda in the evenings since it is in the mountains. Wore a long sleeve shirt and one night a sweater.
