Sending flowers to Paris

Hello - I'm hoping someone on this board can help. My son is looking for a reasonably priced way to send flowers to his girlfriend who is studying abroad in Paris this semester. FTD prices start at over $115 plus fees. Has anyone found a good florist with delivery capabilities in Paris...that will accept debit cards? Thanks!

Google the word Fleuriste with the word Paris - lots and lots come up with the phone numbers. First find one that is close to the address where it is supposed to be delivered - if you don't already see one on the Google search results, for that search with the word fleuriste and Paris and add the postal code - it represents the arrondissement.

Then factor in the time difference and call - soon you'll find one that will have English-speaking personnel and maybe takes that card? Can you help your son out with a real credit card in case the debit card is the only stumbling block?

There may well be some that show up as a search result that operate via an online order form. Do you or your son know enough French for that? It would help.

Try aquarelle.com; good prices, but I don't know about debit cards. I doubt that one would be accepted.

Almost an impossibility to use
a debit card over the phone
... no reason a credit card will not work though.

I've never had an issue using a debit card over the phone - in the USA, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

I don't understand what the problem would be with that.

Your card is likely also a credit card. A true debit card requires a PIN to be entered and I assume you don't give out your PIN over the phone...
