sending e-mail from Prague&Budepest

I will be going to Prague and Budepest in October and wonder if there are any places where I could go to 'e-mail' back to the states. Thanks-- Elizabeth
You'll have better luck in Prague than Budapest. There are a number of centrally located cybercafes in Prague. Hotels frequently have flyers for them. Last time I was in Budapest I didn't have any luck in finding one.
Here's a site that lists cybercafes in europe: http://alpha.barentsnett.no/~ernslars/cafeguide/
If you do a web search for cybercafes or internet cafes you should find other listings.
And if anyone knows of a centrally located cybercafe in Budapest please post! I'll be there again in December.
Hi. There's an internet cafe in Prague called (appropriately) Internet Cafe on Narodni. If you are walking down Narodni FROM the Vltava River, it's about a quarter mile down on your left hand side. It's in an indoor mall that also has The Alter Ego Restaurant (you'll see a sign on the street). I paid 40 Kc for half an hour.

Hope this gives you an initial destination, at least!

There's also one in the Municipal House, a large yellow building between the Powder Tower and the Namesti Republiky metro stop. It's also a nice place to have coffee.
Elizabeth

Just returned from these two cities- great places to visit! I e-mailed in Prague from the locations already mentioned. In Budapest,in our hotel the Marriott, I used the e-mail facilities in the business center on the ground floor. It is opened 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Very inexpensive. You really do not have to stay there to use it. If you have any questions about these two cities, please e-mail me.
Glenn Rogers
