Sending bags home during a trip
We are going to London & Italy this Oct. We will need some formal clothes, and need to bring a big suitcase with a suiter etc., for the London portion of the trip but the Italian leg will be more laid back & casual. I really don't want to lug big suitcases around with stuff we don't need for the Italian portion. Does anyone know if you can send luggage back home without you going with it and it costing a small fortune?
Thanks a bunch for any suggestions. |

We did not ship luggage, but did ship a lot of purchases home. We found a Mail Boxes Etc. in London and our items (2 boxes) made it back to Seattle before we did.

My daughter just shipped home some stuff from Spain using UPS in a Mail Boxes Etc. shop in Alcala. They even boxed it for her.

Those are good examples but would you mind including the cost of the shipping..? thanks.

I have a friend who swears by 'Luggage Free" and for the past 3 years has sent all her luggage to and from her Provence rental villa with them. She has six children, so lots of bags!
