Self Guided Walking Tour of Florence

Hello!
I want to thank everyone in advance for all the wonderful info! Using the search engine has enabled me to find almost everything.

One thing I am having difficulty locating is a self guided walking tour of Florence. I am looking for something that would explain the sight to us, and allow us to move at our own pace. My father will be with us, and he has mobility issues that he would prefer to pretend didn't exist!

Thank you so much...
Elise

Hi Elise,

Are looking for something on the web that can be printed out as a self guided walking tour for Florence?

If so, this Fodor's site lists three walking tours. Select destinations and go to Europe, then to Florence. On the left hand list, you will see three walking tours.

Forgive me if this wasn't what you meant, but hopefully it will help. Have a great trip!

Rick Steves has great walking tours of Florence in his book. You might even check his website.

Hi N,

Did you look up "Florence" under "Destinations"?

It is downhill from the Accademia to the Ponte Vecchio.

Consider getting a DK Eyewitness Florence guidebook. This has several excellent self-guided walking tours.
