self catering accomodation in Ireland
Hi,
We are looking for self catering or BB accomodation in Limerick near the University in July. Any suggestions? Katerina |
Try GoIreland.com. We rented a house outside Killorglin for a very reasonable rate.

As you may know, most all self-catering places rent Sat.-Sat. or Sun.-Sun., so make your plans accordingly. We had a great self-catering arrangement in Doolin, and it saved us a lot of money and made for a very special experience.

thank you both for your advice.
We have to stay in Limerick in order to attend a university seminar. Can anyone tell me the nearest lodgings to the university? |
Also...try the Irish Tourist Board. They have locations here in the states...NY for one and they have an 800 number that you can call. We called a few years ago when we were planning our first trip to Ireland and they sent a great package of all kinds of places to stay including a brochure with almost 5000 listings for self catering alone. Found a beautiful 4 bedroom 2 bath place in Rossaveal (Co Galway) on 7 1/2 acres for under 300 pounds. And I got a great book with B&B listings. Just let them know what you are interested in and they will send the info you need!

I believe there is a hotel just near the universoty...the name evades me as it was booked when I went down for a family event. ALso I am sure there are loads of B&B's in Castletroy which is just near the university. Some people would rent out rooms to students during the year in their homes. I recall a few signs for B&B's check out Go Ireland or even call the university and see if they get any preferred rates on the hotel or with B&B's.
