Seine River Cruises which one to pick for night cruise

I am interested in taking a night river cruise on the Seine as I hear it is a must. But I am not sure which cruise to pick. I know you can take a regular cruise or a dinner cruise. Which is a better option? We are staying at the hotel Britannique. Is there maybe a cruise that travels down the Seine towards Eiffle tower then you can get off and go up in the tower at night? Trying to figure out the best option for a cruise and then the eiffle tower at night. Any suggestions would be great! Thank you

In 2009 we did the Vedettes du Pont Neuf cruise;very good and you can pre book via internet with a substantial saving. However,is a round trip Pont Neuf to Pont Neuf without intermediate stops.Enjoy your trip!!

No, there aren't any cruises that will drop you off in particular places. They all pretty much follow the same route. You'll have to plan the cruise and a visit to the Tour EIFFEL separately. I like the Vedettes du Pont Neuf cruises. You can get a discount coupon on their website, I believe.

I would not do a dinner cruise unless you arrange for one of the Mercedes-class high-end incredibly expensive ones, and even then, a regular cruise followed by a nice dinner nearby is the better option.

Vedettes is a good choice.

Bateaux Parisiens would satisfy your need to cruise and go up the tower.

Another vote for Vedettes. You can pay in advance by cc, print a voucher at home, present it at any time, and save yourself 4 euro.
I particularly like the evening 9:30 cruise because it usually gets you in front of the ET when it is twinkling on the hour. That said, two weeks ago when I was there, for some reason the boat got to ET more quickly than usual, and we were already turned around when the twinkling began. Still a great way to see the beautiful city bathed in light.

I agree with all of the above - also a Vedettes fan. Skip any dinner cruises. On the boat, get there early and find an outside seat for the best views and photo opportunities. I prefer the stern, but outdoors is better than indoors. If you follow the advice of StCirg and grandmere and book and pay over the internet, you can skip what is likely a long line to buy tickets and go right to the special window for pre-booking. That gives you a much better chance to pick the best seats. When you book over the internet, it is not for a particular day or time, so you do not lose flexibility to change plans if the weather does not cooperate.

Has anyone else taken the cruise with Bateaux Parisiens? I would also like to depart at the ET and then have dinner nearby.

Thanks!
