Which criuse goes to Sacré-Coeur?

I can't thank you guys enough for the great information. One less thing to over stress about in wanting to plan a perfect evening! I love the thought of enjoying some wine or champagne while watching Paris light up from a boat! Is it possible (reasonably :-) ) to walk from the Pont-Nuef to the Orsay for dinner or should I plan on a taxi? I haven't even thought about the weather that time of year as far as clothing but that will be next! Thank you again. Just as a side note; we were married on a catamaran in a lagoon off the island of Bora Bora at sunset, so you can see how much I love to plan the memorable moments!

I take a Seine cruise every time I'm in Paris, which is usually once a year (twice this past year). The easiest location for me has been just below the Eiffel Tower. The boats are large and leave quite frequently.

Thanks to this forum, I tried a different location this last trip (www.vedettesdupontneuf.com/billet_en.php). Booking on the website gives you a discount. I did not enjoy the narration as much, but the cruise was the same albeit from the opposite direction. And it was much cheaper.

littlehouse and amelie: Instead of topping really old threads - it is usually better to either save the thread to your favorites or e-mail it to yourself . . . . . .

littlehouse, I'm glad you bookmarked it, because it brought it to my attention. Thanks!

And bookmarking again.

OK - folks - you obviously think I was being rude or something suggesting you save or e-mail threads that interest you . . . . .

But - each time you top an old thread just because you might be able to use the info -- you move a current thread farther down the list an off the first page. I was suggesting a better/most efficient way for you to use the forum. You opt not to -- that is your choice. But it really isn't considerate to other posters.

PLEASE just open a Word document, then cut and paste the info from the thread. All this bookmarking screws with the 'logistics' of threads...i.e. current questions gets bumped by people's personal needs.
